Breast reduction

Have the figure you’ve always desired with a safe and reliable procedure.

This procedure is designed to correct large breasts that cause functional issues in women, such as chronic back pain and limitations in exercising.

The technique depends on the physical examination, but in most cases, an inverted T correction is required, where between 500 and 1500 grams per breast can be removed, as a normal breast weighs between 300 and 500 grams.

Anesthesia

The surgery is performed under general or regional anesthesia.

Duration

Outpatient procedure lasting 3 hours.

Recovery

Recovery time ranges between 5 and 7 days.

Postoperative Care for Breast Reduction

  • A 7-A 7-day recovery period is required, along with the continuous use of a postoperative bra for two months. Drains need to be used for 2 to 4 days.
  • Painkillers, anesthetics, and muscle relaxants are prescribed.
  • Do not drive for 30 days or engage in activities or exertion with the arms.
  • Do not perform activities such as aerobics, weight lifting, or high-impact exercises to avoid inflammation and tissue sagging for a month.
  • During the first four weeks, avoid using pools to prevent infections.
