Academic Background
Graduated as a Medical Doctor and Surgeon from the Universidad Surcolombiana, graduated with honors, obtaining the highest average during the course in 2007. I completed the validation of my degree as a Medical Doctor and Surgeon (USMLE) in the United States.
In 2014, I received my degree as a Specialist in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, after 4 years of study. Subsequently, I completed a Subspecialty – Fellow in Oncological Plastic Surgery at the National Cancer Institute and the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in 2016.
During my 10 years of practice as a plastic surgeon and my 4 years as a subspecialist, I have completed numerous update courses in the country and abroad, as well as training and updating activities in Facial Aesthetic Techniques in Madrid, Paris, and Geneva.
Professional Experience
In my professional performance, I combine private practice in my own office with affiliation to health entities.. In Bogotá D.C., at the Clínica de la Universidad de la Sabana as a clinical teacher, and at the National Cancer Institute. In my hometown Neiva, at Mediláser Clinics, Emcosalud, and the Unidad Oncológica Surcolombiana.
My academic training, my passion for art and aesthetics, coupled with my ethical commitment to quality results and patient safety, provide me with important qualities to offer excellent care to all my patients.
